Step 1 : Download and Unzip

Download the zip file by clicking on the link on the right.
The zip file contains all the files necessary to use Umapresence, and also a website model in order to start immediately your project.
Once the zip file is on your computer, unzip it and install it at the root level of your website.

Step 2 : Installation et settings

Now you must configure Umapresence :

•  Rename "htaccess.txt"  as ".htaccess" (keep the dot before htaccess)
  This tells the server to redirect request towards "control.php" file
  
  


• Create your database and keep its name and connection ID.
  You can chose any name.
  the data base can be a version 4 or 5 of SQL.
• Launch your website, the system detects the installation has to be sent
  
• Follow the instructions on the screen.
• Once you have finished, you should see a following: page "/fr/accueil"
  

Step 3 : Creation of your template and administration

• The template pages are in the "models" file. You alreday have some template available which you can either modify or delete.
  You can modify the template that are accessible via the "Habillage" menu". Create your template with an editing tool and insert the various areas to be treated by Umapresence as indicated on available templates. The active area are shown by {xxx}.

• The back office of the website can be found here : "www.mywebsite.com/admin"
  The temporary ID and password are demo / demo. You can change them in the administration interface.

You now have an operating website you can administrate from any computer in the world !
